After a mistake in one of Neville's newspaper advertisements, Jack Butler went to investigate, and the religious-section editor pacified him by showing him the social section, where dozens of society ladies and their daughters were queueing two months before Easter to arrange in advance what they would wear and where they would be photographed coming out of church.
