Neville describes buying close to a thousand dollars' worth of Blake commentaries before he had the experiences — including three volumes edited by W. B. Yeats for which a dealer just back from England charged him $100 on credit, and others at fifty-five and sixty-five dollars — while the whole of Blake can be had for four or five dollars; he keeps them in his library at home along with a small Nonesuch volume, and reads Blake daily as he does his Bible.
