A few months after the first projection, Neville again found himself released from the body. Remembering that he had been unable to force his way through the wall, he this time quietly imagined himself elsewhere — and 'in the twinkling of an eye I was there'. He takes this as the moment he knew he was all Imagination: 'In my experience I felt myself to be spirit, yet I could not get through the wall. I moved only when I imagined myself elsewhere.'
