Neville recounts that in May 1949, in Milwaukee, he described to an Allis-Chalmers physicist the same forward-and-back movement in time and imagination that Richard Feynman later described for the positron in an October 1949 Science Letter article (which the physicist, a subscriber, mailed him that December); Neville notes he reached the same understanding mystically, years before Feynman was awarded the Nobel Prize for it.
