The structural rule Neville draws from his own visions and then applies to the world. Every dream is both egocentric and protean - egocentric because it is entirely the dreamer's, and protean because the dreamer plays all the parts in it, whether female, male or animal: if he sees a dog, a lion, a monster in his dream, he is playing those too. The rule matters because of what it is used for. If a dream is egocentric and its single author plays every part, and if this world is a dream of God's (M-all-dreams-proceed-from-god), then the same must hold of the world - which is how the private experience of dreaming becomes the argument that there is no other actor anywhere. It is a child of the protean being (M-god-is-a-protean-being): God is protean, and a dream, being his, is protean too. The attach lane reports it in about 16 lectures (81, 1167, 1306, 1314, 1320, 1528, 1530, 1889, 1890, 1891, 1951, 1993). The architect ruled out-of-sequence coining acceptable on this condition (PM 6056); occurrence confidence is 0.95 rather than 0.99 for that reason.
