I don’t call it failure. The question was “Apparently some will fail in this incarnation?” I can’t call it failure because the time is being filled up, and what they’re doing now is essential for the fullness of time to come. The experiences that they’re going through now are essential. But with the law, you still go through the experiences and cushion the blows and do all kinds of things. You can be the man that you want to be! Whether the world tells you that that is foolish or not, I don’t care what they say, you can! The current Time magazine, have you seen it? All millionaires before they are forty. Well, there are others buried on the inside. Why Time runs a thing like that I don’t know, because it seems so stupid to make an issue of that. There’s one on the inside, I won’t mention his name. I know his sister-in-law and his wife and his brother-in-law through marriage very, very well. Here is his brother, who claims he has over $20,000,000. He admits to thirty-four. Of course, he’s over forty so they couldn’t put him on the cover. But those who know him say he’s just like a little child and he admits in this little interview that he can’t travel as he wants to travel because of the pressure of business and, therefore, money isn’t so important. And if you know him, is money important to him! He has made it God. There is no success in this world but the success of having money. But in print, he pooh-poohs it this way, as though it doesn’t exist. He worships gold…worships it. Get behind twenty-four hours in a payment for one of his cars and it’s repossessed. No room for argument, none whatsoever. That’s his attitude towards life. But success…the very word…he said, “That man is a successful man.” “How much does he have?” “I didn’t mean that…I was pointing at Einstein. “Oh well, he hasn’t any money. He isn’t a success; he doesn’t have money.” Well, the only real…all will be successful in the true use of the word…is the end when the drama unfolds in its fullness in them.
