Jewish traveller named in an 1905 Jewish Chronicle letter as the bearer of correspondence from the Falashas of Abyssinia to their European and Palestinian co-religionists, and as the escort who brought young Falashas to Paris. Possibly, but not confidently, connected to the other itinerant Abyssinian/Ethiopian Jewish traveller reported under many spellings in the American press of the 1890s-1900s (Samuel Waltzkowitz and variants) - the name does not obviously match and the context (British/French press, a named correspondence-bearer rather than an itinerant showman) differs, so kept as a distinct person rather than merged.
