Neville's young friend Matt postpones spiritual study and dies in India
Description
In London in 1925 he urged his 21-year-old friend Matt, whose father had introduced Neville to The Light of Asia and the Bhagavad Gita, to take an interest in these things; Matt said he wanted to live first and would wait until he was old like his father, then went to India as a tea taster and died of a fever there about six months later, news reaching Neville in New York by a letter from Matt's mother.
