A correspondent told Neville that instead of being indifferent to a co-worker's daily complaints about money he began in February to hear him say he had more than enough, and by May the man had inherited money, bought a cabin cruiser, sent his son to college, repaired his house and bought a car and wardrobe — while the correspondent's own three children were named beneficiaries of an estate that had been in litigation over seventy years.

A woman friend present at the lecture told Neville her daughter would die within three weeks unless her kidney functioned; she instantly volunteered her own kidney, went into hospital for three days of tests and was told hers could not be used, and through daily telephone calls with Neville she held to the imaginal act of her daughter well and mothering again — and tonight she reported the daughter has recovered.

A friend came to Neville's home for dinner a couple of weeks earlier and quietly slipped into his pocket, in the kitchen while Neville was pouring him a drink, a letter containing a three-part vision, which Neville read casually that evening, again after the friend left, and again the next morning.

In New York City a teacher sat at his meeting and said she would try his method on a child the principal and psychiatrists had decided must be expelled; the child was not expelled but graduated, and the teacher wrote him the letter, which he tells with her consent.

A friend told Neville how in the spring of 1967 the book Your Faith is Your Fortune fell off the shelf at the Glendale library three weeks running until he read it; he later saw Neville's newspaper ad and he and his wife began attending the meetings, and in a letter he shared a vision of finding a baby on his car seat and declaring three times that he was its father.

Neville mentions a friend's dream of a few nights ago in which something starts from the centre and works toward the surface.

Early one morning Neville switched on the television to check the time and heard Hugh Downs ad-lib the story of a dream in which he previewed a show that was taped the following Friday.

Neville reports an unsigned letter received in the past week — he notes that he or his wife receive many such letters — from a woman who, awake and watching fish in her pond, heard a masculine voice say she had run the race and fought the good fight, and that night heard the same words from within in the first person.

Neville attended a concert this past week with a gentleman who teaches at UCLA; at intermission the man began telling him a dream but was interrupted, so he wrote it out — a dream of taking an examination set by a man he had despised, writing the time 4:10, and hearing a deep masculine voice quote Matthew 7:21, together with an earlier dream of October 23rd in which his watch also read 4:10.

A woman friend of his (Virginia) heard an inner voice on 23 March that called her David and said "I am God…and I am you," and again on 24 May that said "I am God himself… You are me, my son… And I know you, Virginia. Jesus Christ is your world"; he tells the audience she has been redeemed.

That afternoon a gentleman telephoned to ask the night's subject; Neville's wife took the call and reported the caller was unimpressed and wanted something more practical, and she doubted he would come.
