A lady he had known for years — whom he had given away at her wedding, being mistaken for the bride's father by the bride's actual sister — asked him to hear for her that she had ten million dollars; her brother was later reported to have inherited a hundred-million-dollar estate, and while she lived in that mood two shabbily dressed elderly women paid off the mortgage on her husband's little church and house, bought her a car and set up a thousand-dollar-a-month trust.

A lady told Neville of a vision in which, in an ancient Roman seaport at midnight, she fought through a crowd going to a temple to reach a beach where she had an appointment; the man in white who left the fishermen's boat and faced the east was Neville, who said he would wait until the dawn for others to come.

A lady present at the lecture wrote to him describing how, after her husband left for work at four in the morning on the 8th, she begged the brothers to take her to the Father, was kissed and tucked in by female figures, floated to a golden mansion, and saw seated on a throne a golden human form whose face was Neville's.

A woman friend who is in the audience wrote to him about a dream in which an idle remark she made to one friend was repeated from two to four to eight until some three hundred people filled the room with animosity directed at her.

Neville reports a letter received the past week from a lady who dreamed she was digging in the earth with a shovel and knew she was digging in her own brain; he calls it a true vision and says she is on the verge.

A lady wrote to Neville describing a vision in which she found herself in a cage, seeing three men etched in gold and a woman holding an infant; he interprets it as the sign of her approaching birth from above.

He visited a friend in Beverly Hills that day, an elderly well-off couple in their late seventies who listen to sensational radio hosts every night, fear California will sink, and have decided to move to Arizona — proving to him they never really accepted his message.

He reports one of two letters received that week: a lady dreamed she was driving down a highway with her husband and saw two wild horses running toward a deep cliff - the younger leaped across into rich pasture, the older fell on the highway and came to her for comfort when she reached out.

The second letter: a lady dreamed of a white, a black and a pale horse on her thousand-acre estate; men offered a fantastic price for the estate but really wanted the white horse, and though they repeatedly tried to kill or injure her the white horse always appeared to redeem her - and in her letter she asked whether she had already ridden the red horse of conflict.

Two years earlier Neville gave his immortal eyes to a woman he knows only from his meetings; a week before this lecture she and a companion, sitting in a parked car after the lecture, had a series of visions - a coach, a majestic sword-bearing being, Neville stepping out and smiling, his own corpse burned on a cross down to a stump of molten gold - and the companion, in bed that night, saw the earth burst into flame and a serpent become a man in the cross. He read the account in a letter, and the first woman has since passed the eyes on to the woman sitting beside her tonight.

Neville received a letter today from a married man, present in the room, who found himself in a vision to be a woman lying in bed, desiring one particular olive-skinned Oriental man, whom he then assumed into appearance; Neville takes it as long-awaited testimony that in the resurrection man changes his sexual garments at will.
