Neville twice describes a friend sharing an inward experience around the time of a lecture. Before a talk titled 'Predestined Glory', a woman he calls having 'a wonderful incurrent eye' tells him, moments before he begins speaking, of a vision in which she entered a loan company asking to borrow money and was granted it by the owner — which he reads as a picture of the God within granting every wish asked in faith. On another occasion, during 'The Man Within', he speaks of a longtime attender who had recently and suddenly accepted, at that same venue, that the divine he had been seeking outside himself was in fact within him all along.
