Neville relates a second experience sent him that week by the same lady: standing on the rim of a great wheel among muscular men singing the Battle Hymn, receiving the conductor's baton; and then, acting on his teaching about giving what you would like to receive, giving her friend Jan love and seeing Jan walk all golden upon an ocean.

A nurse named Jen, who seven years earlier had imagined going to Egypt despite having no money and was mocked by her friends for it, telephoned Neville this past week to say a friend had handed her a first-class all-expenses-paid thirty-day door-prize trip to the Near East including Egypt.

A woman friend present in the audience wrote him a letter describing a three-part dream: she woke at three remembering only gathering ripe fruit, slept again and woke at seven with a blank pad, and later that morning her friend Jan's phone call about the Book of Job triggered the memory of being on a painless wooden cross that rooted, branched and became a living tree full of ripened fruit.

Neville reads and interprets a letter received that week from a woman who dreamed a series of dreams on successive nights — finding a watch the children called a treasure, everything she wanted on wheels, following him from lecture to lecture on an ivy-covered campus, and finally a great white house built by her father where he told her "My name is Friday"; her mother is in the audience that night.

Just before Neville took the platform for this lecture, a couple came back to tell him that in the man's dream their friend Jan said 'I will not return anymore' — which Neville read as resurrection.

A friend of Neville's, Jan, left a letter in his box last Saturday while he was away, telling how in April 1966 she went to Pittsburgh and taught revision to her friend Betty and Betty's deaf husband Matt; Betty heard nightly for a year and a half the words 'Betty, I can hear', and after an attack of ear pain and a doctor's drops Matt woke hearing and came home early saying exactly those words.

A gentleman wrote to Neville that after falling asleep desiring to teach the Bible he felt enormous energy pouring from his head, flew from his third-floor apartment toward Jan's place, then to Marge's house, thought better of both and flew home to bed, fully conscious throughout.

A woman wrote to Neville this week saying that after her daughter and their friend Jan had separate visions and told her to ask for confirmation, she thought of Neville before sleep, and on falling asleep again he appeared to her as the risen Christ and gave her the number twenty-six; Neville explains that twenty-six is the final Pe, the mouth of God, given to her as a voice of authority, and rebukes her for extending the number to November 13th.

A second lady wrote of a series of three dreams two days later, in which Neville taught the group a wholly new language, then helped them use it, then told them 'I must die to the flesh in order to live in you' — the dreamers being separate in the first dream, linked in the second, and one in the third.

A woman at that night's lecture gave Neville her written account of waking with the words 'Now I understand', hearing her friend Jan's voice say 'I am in you and you in me', and grasping the unity of being.

His friend Jan visited Pittsburgh and taught her childhood friend Betty to imagine playing a Baldwin organ; an unexpected $3,500 from her father's estate and a sale price let her buy it, and when a $1,700 roof estimate followed Jan reminded her the principle is one, not forty case histories.

Neville relates that his friend Jan, who saw him the day before, had gone to a meeting where a teacher asked what would be found at the seventh center, and Jan answered 'Nothing!', reducing the would-be teacher to tears.

Jen told Neville by telephone that on her current nursing job, with the TV aerial blown flat by high winds and no picture, the little boy of the house put both hands on the set, said his imagination would do it, and a perfect picture came.
