He says he learned first-hand in New York City of a wealthy woman who willed two million dollars to St. Thomas on 5th Avenue only if Bishop Manning were dead; the bishop outlived her, so St. Luke's Hospital got the money instead.

Neville recalls having told this same audience about a man with skin cancers who, while shaving and seeing them still on his face, heard friends congratulating him on his good fortune, and the cancers disappeared without a trace.

In the question period Neville recounts a friend present that night whose dream had a strange man come asking for food; she hesitated because her husband was due home, was woken by her baby before feeding him, and on waking fed him in her Imagination so as not to turn him away.

A woman friend, present in the audience, wrote Neville a letter describing a dream in which a voice told her to eat a raw steak from a beautiful plate and then said she had eaten the body of God; he identifies it with John 6.

Neville retells a New York subway incident in which a young woman asked for a seat as a pregnant lady, a gentleman rose at once and asked when she was expecting, and she answered that she did not know — she had just had the impression.

A friend present at the lecture told Neville a vision in which he built a great building knowing his unseen father was the greater builder, picked up and loved a black and white king snake (putting back a second, poisonous one), talked with the snake about her departed husband, and then saw the same snake climb a pole and turn to descend.

A woman friend wrote to Neville describing a vision of being in a rock-hewn cave containing a great urn with a carved face, moving freely in and out through the walls, then finding the urn was itself a head with moving lips and its top removed and empty, before she awoke.
