Jim buys a Hollywood Hills house
Description
Neville recounts that his dentist friend Jim bought his first home, in the Hollywood Hills, for $20,000 seventeen years before this telling. The house, once owned by a son of Kaiser, had about $10,000 of improvements (a pool and structural changes) bringing its basis to $30,000, and Jim was asking $75,000 for it at the time of the lecture. Told in the lecture 'He Is Dreaming Now' (nid 2148); internal content evidence places its delivery between July and December 1970 rather than the catalog's May 1970, placing the home purchase between July and December 1953.

Woman uses revision after her husband's film appears lost
Description

Sitting in silence for an hour and ten minutes hearing the matter resolved, she then received a call from her husband saying Acme had found the missing footage after all. Told in the lecture 'Three Propositions' (nid 2015, delivered 1954).
