A friend in the computer business told Neville how, with a million-dollar computer failing days before a convention, he imagined it was already Tuesday morning and the computer working perfectly, and the missing parts turned up from a manufacturer only fourteen miles away in time for the show.

Just before taking the platform for this lecture, Neville was approached backstage by a couple who told him they had met his friend Jan, present in the audience, in a dream; in it Jan said, 'I will not return any more.' Jan herself had no memory of it, but Neville read her words as a sign that she had achieved resurrection in the depths, tying it to the Gospel of Luke's teaching on the resurrected not marrying.

Just before Neville took the platform for this lecture, a couple came back to tell him that in the man's dream their friend Jan said 'I will not return anymore' — which Neville read as resurrection.

Neville reads out a letter received this past week from a friend present in the audience, who imagined two words in another person's handwriting implying a problem solved, held them as he fell asleep, and in his dream saw a white-robed arm write the two words in that identical handwriting.

A second woman, also present, wrote Neville a letter: she had come to his lecture on Friday November 10th, heard the teaching about doing it unto the least of these, and the following Monday tore into a friend on the telephone; that night she dreamed of rooms in the Near East full of massacred men and finally of a man hanging as though on a cross, and understood she was crucifying herself whenever she was unloving to anyone.

His earthly parents came, troubled, but he was indifferent to them. He then met the figure on a side street, wearing a long white robe, told him of his experiences, and was assured 'you had done it' — waking with the feeling of having done it. Neville related this in the lecture 'Jesus Christ, the True Identity of Man' (nid 1306, delivered 1967-11-17), reading it as an enactment of Luke 2's temple episode.

The same friend sends Neville an account, dated Sunday 12 November, of a dream in which he travelled to a primitive Near-Eastern city to hear Neville teach from a grain store, followed him through the streets collecting his sayings, was indifferent to his earthly parents who came to investigate, and finally met him in a long white robe who assured him he had done it.

A woman in the audience, a recent mother, wrote Neville a letter this past week describing a dream in which she was three people and waited for a little green dog that shone like the sun, and was told that her building was finished and all she had to do was turn around and claim it.

Neville points out a woman in the audience, seated to his right, who he says had been mystically 'engrafted' only a few weeks earlier, much as his friend Bill (also present that night) had been engrafted some years before. He uses both cases to illustrate that no one can know in advance when such a graft will germinate and 'erupt into flower,' comparing it to the hidden timing described in the first chapter of Acts.

Neville recalls a friend who, a few weeks earlier, asked him 'Is it necessary?' while lying prone on a hospital cot in a vision, with Neville cast as her spiritual surgeon; he assured her it would not hurt, and using an implement like a silver comb with needle-like teeth, performed the operation, which she experienced as a cool brushing before declaring herself ready and the implanting complete. He offers the vision as an example of the word being fully implanted rather than merely imparted.

Answering Ina's question, Neville says a letter arrived today from a woman present in the audience who found herself split into three persons of differing sexes, and that he will treat it next week; he adds that those he has met in that other world after death wore the same sexual garments they wore here.

A man newly attending Neville's meetings wrote to him this week describing how he used imagination twice at his company's computer business — first to make a million-dollar computer work in time for an Anaheim convention, then to find two missing parts for an old model, which the salesman found in a package ten feet away.

A woman in the audience shared with Neville a two-part symbolic dream from earlier that week. In the second half, she lies on a hospital cot as Neville, cast as her surgeon, prepares to operate on her with a luminous, needle-toothed instrument; she wakes at 7:30 having called out to a little dog named Junior, who answered to his name. Neville reads the hour and the dog's name symbolically, taking 7:30 as the stage just short of eight, the number of Christ, and Junior as a marker of her advancing spiritual state.

Neville refers to a lady present that night who had had a vision of coming to the gates of Jerusalem and finding them closed, and explains that entrance is only up the water shaft of the spine.

A woman present in the audience shared with Neville this week two dreams: standing on the top of the world above a limitless amphitheater hearing her own voice say the world is a theater and she is the whole world pushed out, a collapsing world and a little white dog with a lamb's face whom the voice called Neville's dog and whom she named Junior; then a second dream in which Neville was the surgeon operating painlessly on her shoulder with a luminous silver comb of needles, after which she woke at 7:30.
