Neville tells of Joseph Burleigh, whom he had introduced to his wife at one of his own meetings: born in Odessa to a poor Jewish family, orphaned of his mother at eight and raised in charity clothing, Burleigh later built a fortune by applying the principle of imagination Neville taught, and gave generously to charities along the way. He died about a year before this telling, at seventy-seven, leaving his widow millions.

A friend with an unusually keen imaginative 'hearing' -- able to hear a spoken affirmation as distinctly as a recording -- told Neville by phone that a young neighbor had affirmed being free of a disturbing couple next door with three children. Within days, the couple was killed in a highway accident, leaving the children behind, including a mentally disabled teenage boy. Troubled by her part in it, she asked Neville whether she had done wrong; he told her she was entirely exonerated, having simply exercised a principle without controlling how it played out.

He says that among his closest friends and relatives, those who used the law and succeeded end up crowing over it as their own doing, forgetting the simple principle any porter could have used.

A Catholic friend of his gave up the Catholic Church to marry a divorced Catholic man, and her father disowned her for daring to marry a divorced man.

A woman friend told Neville that she became lucid inside a dream in which a man got out of a car intending to hurt her; instead of arguing she arrested the activity within herself, told him he was tired and needed coffee and sleep, released it, and he shook his head, got back in the car and drove off.

The friend tells Neville that he had lived by this law long before meeting him, having first heard of Neville through his wife, and that they took to the teaching together while in Paris.

Neville says he is thrilled by the letters his students send him describing dreams in which they instruct a priest, rabbi or minister in the Law of Imagination.

A woman in the audience told Neville a dream in which she saw her husband encased in limitations from the hips down which cracked and fell apart, after which he jumped and danced for joy.

Neville tells from the platform a woman's dream in which she saw a rattlesnake, her husband said he must take off the rattlers first, and she handed him a hammer to beat the snake to death, waking as she beat it.
