Description
A woman in the audience gave Neville a written account of an inner mystical experience: she woke with the words "Now I understand," realized they had not been spoken by her own voice but by her friend Jan's, then heard a further voice say "I am in you and you in me," which brought her to a felt understanding of the oneness of being. Description
A friend of Neville's noticed that the fourth, lowest-ranked barber in a four-chair shop genuinely loved his work, and began imagining him as the head of his own shop. Six weeks later the barber unexpectedly bought the shop from its owner. Within the following year he travelled to a barbers' contest in Neville's city, where he and the two barbers he brought took home four of the five prizes, and he went on to win an entire seven-state regional contest, earning a thousand dollars and a plaque for his wall -- all, Neville says, from his friend's single act of imagination.
