Correspondent's mother invites her home for the summer
Description
A listener's letter, read aloud in the lecture 'Become Like a Child' (nid 1249, delivered 1967-03-27), recounts that in December her mother called from Kansas asking her to come home for the summer; despite a momentary worry over money, she assumed she was already in her mother's living room, both of them blissfully happy, and 'kept the sabbath' by not violating that assumption.

Neville's friend writes about her cross-and-fruit-tree dream
Description
A woman in the audience, a friend of Neville's, wrote him a letter describing a strange experience: waking at three in the morning able to recall only the last of a three-part dream, in which she was preparing beautifully ripened fruit to eat. She tried and failed to write the earlier parts down before falling back asleep, waking startled to find it was seven o'clock with nothing on her pad; later that morning an unrelated phone conversation about the Book of Job unexpectedly triggered her memory of the dream's earlier parts.
