Neville reads a letter received that morning from Tom C., a young man in his late twenties who had been attending his meetings for two or three years. Tom described waking about 5:30 a.m. on 30 April completely cataleptic, unable to move; once the paralysis eased, he found himself standing behind a large bar as its owner. His brother Jerry told him someone had just died, and other figures appeared in turn -- a stranger, then a skeptical cousin who produced a book to argue against him -- each time Tom insisting the whole scene was a dream and that God alone, as the Dreamer, was the only reality within it.

A real-estate saleswoman who had attended five of his lectures since December wrote him a letter describing how she imagined herself inside a large Spanish house with her clients for six consecutive nights, after which her client phoned about exactly that house, which they bought at their price.

Neville reads out a letter received that morning from Tom C., a young former student now in New York, who woke cataleptic, found himself dreaming behind a bar with his brother Jerry, applied Neville's technique of holding a solid object to wake within the dream, and then told a lady and his cousin that the world is a dream, showing his cousin page thirty-six of her own book.

A woman wrote Neville describing an out-of-body experience one afternoon in May 1965: lying on the floor, she affirmed she could leave her body if she wished, and instantly found herself viewing a vivid, silent country scene — a horse-drawn carriage on an unpaved road, and people in old-fashioned dress standing perfectly still though poised as if in motion. Sensing that her own presence was what held the scene frozen, and that it would come alive once she withdrew, she found herself back on the floor and heard an inner voice answer her question of where she had been: "Paris, 1778." Neville offers it as a taste of a coming age in which people will directly perceive that every moment in history persists, being endlessly reenacted like a play that never truly ends.

He reads out a letter from a woman who, lying on the floor in May 1965, left her body and viewed an eighteenth-century country scene with a horse-drawn carriage and people frozen in the act of motion, knowing her presence held them still, and a voice told her 'Paris 1778'.

A friend told Neville, at last Friday night's meeting, of a dream a couple of weeks earlier in which he arrived by train at night in a city he could not name, knowing only that he was an actor, and was taken across a square lit with clusters of lights to a theatrical agency, where the receptionist did not recognise him and two overwhelmingly beautiful men burst out to welcome him — he woke before they could tell him who he was.

Neville's friend, a writer present in the audience, was told in a vision to help another by playing all the parts as in writing a play; he tried it for a woman who needed a car and she received the identical make, colour and convertible top he had imagined, but when he later tried without love to remove a man from her life he was locked in her body for six hours and slept twelve hours afterwards, and wrote Neville a second letter warning the audience to do it only in love.

A woman who acted on his instruction of the previous Friday to fall asleep in the assumption "I am Jesus Christ" called on him at home the day before the lecture, bubbling over, to tell him that on one night she heard an entire audible lecture on Peter, James and John as faith, hope and love, on another felt Blake's presence saying "You become what you behold", and on another saw herself in a full-length mirror as a being of impossible beauty.

Two friends who live together in Eagle Rock and both worked at RCA were at Neville's home for dinner last Sunday night, and one of them, who had been unexpectedly fired from RCA and afterwards found a better job at Unico downtown, realised while asking Neville a question that he had caused it himself by daydreaming, as they commuted the Santa Ana Freeway, of turning off towards downtown L.A.

Just before taking the platform for this lecture, a woman told Neville that her husband, fifty-five and unable to find work after being let go, had at last landed a new job -- through the secret, ongoing effort of Neville's wife and a friend of the family, who had privately agreed to hold him in mind as gainfully and genuinely affluent. He had started on the payroll the day before this lecture, though his position would not officially begin until the coming Monday.

A friend wrote Neville describing a dream from two weeks earlier: he found himself as an actor arriving by train at night in an unnamed city he could only recall being called 'the City of Lights,' unable to remember his own name or the part he was to play. In the dream, two radiant, powerful men rushed to greet him and reveal his identity, but he woke just before they could tell him who he was -- a vision Neville reads as being on the verge of the deeper discovery of one's true, divine identity through 'the Son.'

Around mid-May 1965, Neville's friend dreamed he arrived by train at night in a brilliantly lit but unnamed city. He knew he was an actor yet could remember neither his identity nor his play; two radiant men rushed to welcome him before he awoke.

A friend present in the audience wrote Neville a letter describing how, the night before a golf game, he assumed he was his opponent and complimented himself on every stroke; the next day he won by ten strokes while his friend complimented him at every hole.

A friend wrote to Neville this week describing how, feeling that he was about to depart this world, he went to sleep saying “I am Christ, I am God” and granting a blessing to a woman friend, then dreamt of a violent earthquake that blew his house apart, heard his own voice proclaiming her free, woke in a pool of golden light and wrote out “Feeling is the one and only reality” and “Don’t think, feel,” afterwards finding the Bible fall open at the earthquake at the death of Jesus in Matthew.

Neville repeatedly insisted from the platform that he was not theorizing or speculating but had experienced the whole book of Scripture.

A man down from San Francisco told Neville today how he finally confronted his aunt, visiting from Maine for five months, and forbade the Huntley-Brinkley news on his television between six and seven, saying he was allergic to negativity after a whole day of hearing people's problems.
